How it works

The device automatically turns Auto Start / Stop off at each startup. You can use the factory Start / Stop button to re-enable the system for the current drive.

Factory remote start continues to work with the Start / Stop Eliminator installed.

Installation

  • Remove the dash end panel, and pull down the crashpad to the left of the steering wheel. Install inline with the factory Start / Stop Switch. Install fuse tap in bottom right most fuse location marked "Power Socket 20A".

    This is a total upgrade to my 2026 Kicks. Super easy install. Purchased a $5 trim removal kit to make sure I didn't run into any problems in the install. Total time 15 minutes for a lifetime of not having to push the Start Stop button. Product is totally worth it's price and its value is worth 10X.

    I am so glad I came across this item. I am so tired of having to remember to push the button to turn off the start stop feature on my car. Whoever thought that was a good idea is nuts!!! Thank you to the person who came up with the stop/start eliminator device. It works great and was so easy to install. I have been recommending it to many people already. I would have given 5 stars but didn't for one reason. When starting the car, about one time per day it doesn't do what it is supposed to and I have to pushed the button to turn off the start/stop feature. Overall, I am very happy I made the purchase!!!
