How it works
The device automatically turns Auto Start / Stop off at each startup. You can use the factory Start / Stop button to re-enable the system for the current drive.
Factory remote start continues to work with the Start / Stop Eliminator installed.

- 2017, 2018 & 2019 Toyota Highlander
Not compatible with hybrid models.
Installation
- Remove the drivers side dash finishing panel, and then pull down the trim holding the auto Start / Stop switch assembly to access the back of the Start / Stop Disable switch. Plug Start / Stop Eliminator inline with switch.
Operating notes
Wait at least one minute after switching the ignition off before restarting. If you restart sooner, the device may not disable Start / Stop for that drive. Use the factory button if needed.

So far the thing is working,ask toyota a few months ago they wanted $$$$ to disable auto junk start.

Works great, easy to install.
I installed this on my wife’s 2018 Highlander in less than 15 minutes. It works great, you won’t have to remember to disable the annoying start/stop feature on every engine start, it does it for you. My only gripe was the instruction video was a little too fast, I had to slow it down and repeat it many times.

Highlander Start / Stop Eliminator
The Start / Stop Eliminator was easy to install on my 2019 Highlander and worked perfectly. No more aggravating engine shutoffs. Wish I knew about this device years ago.

If I could give 4.5 I would. I find it not turning off at times. Product does what it says 95% of the time. I will be in contact with 4d just as a follow up.
