The device remembers your Start / Stop preference between drives. Use the factory Start / Stop button to change your selection.
Factory remote start continues to work with the Start / Stop Eliminator installed.

Installation
- Simply pull up the trim around the shifter by hand and insert between factory wire harness and the Start / Stop switch. See install video tab above.

Fixing a GM design limitation
Thank goodness for aftermarket companies like 4D Tech which provide solutions to stupid design issues created by manufacturers like General Motors. I mostly love my GMC Acadia but the auto stop/start setting cannot be indefinitely disabled and remembering to turn off this useless feature every time is maddening. Thank you 4D Tech for your simple solution!!!!

23 GMC Acadia
Great product but the instructions for installation are very lacking. The video shows how to remove the sides of the console and to a limited extent the top of the console. But then it stops there and never shows where the subject connector is located at within the console. Instructions leave the installer hanging! Suggest the video is reshot to show more detail.

Acadia eliminator
Works just as described. Looks well put together. Video or instructions could show a little better view of how the clips in installation come apart but other than that no complaints. Just a suggestion for future videos/instructions.
