- Open the drivers side door, and remove the crash pad side cover using a plastic dash removal tool. Unplug the connector that plugs into the back of the Start / Stop Switch assembly (silver switches left of the steering wheel). Although not required, you can remove the lower panel for better access. Install Start/Stop Eliminator between the two factory connectors.

Installation issues
Although the product seems to be working as advertised, the installation instructions are not accurate at all for a 2024 GV80. The instructions state to remove a panel to install. It states you can remove a second panel for better access. In reality you have to remove 3 panels and loosen another in order to feed the plug through a very small access point to be able to plug it into the switch. I tried to follow the instructions but there was no way to access the small area behind the switch without more steps. The area is quite restrictive. All instructions should be written only after one has completed an installation.

Unit works great, but was rather intensive to install. The dash needed to be pulled apart further than the instructions to allow access to the switch.
