How it works
The device remembers your Start / Stop preference between drives. Use the factory Start / Stop button to change your selection.
Factory remote start continues to work with the Start / Stop Eliminator installed.
Check your fitment
- 2025 & 2026 Subaru Forester (Works both WITH or WITHOUT RAB - Reverse Automatic Braking Option)
- WILL NOT WORK if prompted by your touchscreen with the message "Would you like to update the following setting" after pressing the Start / Stop button on screen.
Not compatible with hybrid models.
Installation
- Simply insert in-line with the factory wire harness behind the overhead console.

2025 Forester Start/Stop Eliminator
Purchase for my 2025 Forester Sport, shipping was fast, installation was incredibly easy, works as advertised. Nice thing about 4D's Eliminator is you can hide it's presents by turning Stop/Start on before taking in for service, system will operate like factory.

I've purchased 2 and they are great. I no longer had to keep remembering to shut of the worthless switch. I wanted one for a Buick Envision but they didn't make one. I bought another car.
