COMPATIBILITY:
- 2016 Ford F-150 pickup trucks equipped the 8" SYNC 3 system - this will NOT work with the older 8" MyFord Touch system or add the 8" touchscreen to your vehicle.
- NOTE: If your vehicle does not have the upgraded USB hub already that supports Apple CarPlay, you will need to purchase the optional USB hub listed above, OR request we downgrade the system software to version 3.3 in the order notes.

- Q – “Will this kit void my factory warranty?”
- A – No. This kit will not void your vehicle warranty. Although Ford will not warranty the components in our kit, we do for one full year!
- Q – “Can I still update the SYNC software when updates are available?”
- A – Yes. You will still be able to update SYNC via USB thumb drive from our software updates page HERE.
- Q – “Will this kit affect my SiriusXM subscription?”
- A – No. SiriusXM subscriptions are NOT affected by our kit - your SiriusXM ID will remain the same.

2016 FORD F-150 NAVIGATION UPGRADE
Process went smoothly, part arrived quickly and following the videos was easy to install. I sent the old one back for a $100.00 refund, still waiting on that. The Navigation system works great and I added the Apple Play for my kids that get a chance to ride once in a while. Unit is a bit pricey but glad to have it.

Outstanding upgrade
WOW I didn't know what I was missing. And it was a snap to install. Took about 20 minutes and was up and running.

Nav upgrade
As the video shows it's that easy the only thing I would suggest use a magnetic tip to help not drop the bolts cuz it's a little tight

F150 (2016) NAVIGATION UPGRADE FOR SYNC 3
Upgrade was easy. The item links up and installation was medium difficulty. The video of how to remove the factory installed clips for the cable was a bit unclear but figured it out eventually. Powered up and using today. If you are unsure about getting the Apple Play USB ports, do so as the unit expects to see them and will give you an error message if not installed. The unit will work fine, but I do not like error messages. DD
