How it works
The device remembers your Start / Stop preference between drives. Use the factory Start / Stop button to change your selection.
Factory remote start continues to work with the Start / Stop Eliminator installed.
Check your fitment
- 2018-2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee (2 row seating)
- 2022 Grand Cherokee PRE-Refresh (2 row seating & Uconnect v4)
WILL NOT WORK FOR:
- 2021+ Grand Cherokee L (w/ 3rd row seating)
- 2022+ Grand Cherokee REFRESHED (2 row seating & Uconnect v5 - Identified as having a row of buttons directly above the screen)
Not compatible with 4xe plug-in hybrid models.
Installation
- Simply insert between factory wire harness and the 8 pin plug at the gateway module below the glove box on the passenger side - simply remove the felt cover below the glove box.
- Remove the felt cover below the glovebox on the passenger side.
- Locate the small 8-pin connector at the gateway module, shown by the arrow in the upper-left area.
- Push the connector inward, firmly press its release tab, then pull it out. Connect the eliminator inline and fully seat both connections. Reinstall the cover.

ONE OF THE BEST PURCHASES I HAVE MADE ON MY JEEP CHEROKEE THIS YEAR. DON'T KNOW WHY THEY WERE INSTALLED IN THE FIRST PLACE OTHER THAN TO WEAR YOUR STARTER OUT WAY EARLY. YOU CAN INSTALL THIS S/S ELIMINATOR YOURSELF.

Awesome Start/Stop Eliminator
This item works as intended, easy to install, and the price was right. Now, I don’t have to turn off the annoying start/stop feature on my 2021 Jeep GC at every start up. I highly recommend this product when you want to bypass the auto start/stop on your equipped vehicle.

Great Purchase
Just received mine in the mail yesterday. Popped out the clips, located the module, inserted eliminator, got the flash, put the panels and clips back into place, started /shut off vehicle, and DONE. All of that took every bit of 5-10 minutes to quit that annoying shut off and on forever. Get it....well worth the money.
