How it works

The device remembers your Start / Stop preference between drives. Use the factory Start / Stop button to change your selection.

Factory remote start continues to work with the Start / Stop Eliminator installed.

Installation

  • Simply insert between factory wire harness and the 8 pin plug at the gateway module below the steering wheel - no tools required!

  1. Look up into the driver-side footwell to find the gateway module.
  2. Use the black 8-pin connector up high, not the lower gray connector.
  3. Push the connector inward, firmly press its release tab, then pull it out. Connect the eliminator inline and fully seat both connections.

    AMAZING PRODUCT! I am a female with no experience with this type of thing and I was able to install within 3 minutes flat. No need to remove panel - just look up under dash, push tab in to remove/pull out factory plug and install eliminator. Worked immediately with no issues. SO HAPPY to be done with the annoying start/stop!!! Would recommend to anyone!!! Thanks 4D!!!

    Just got my Start/Stop interrupt adapter, Super fast install the hardest part was popping off the panel and twisting by body to get to the plug. Everything snapped in with in seconds and does exactly what is advertised. Arrived in a couple days can't ask for more than that.

    This did exactly what I wanted it to do, I wanted that crappy engine stop at Red Lights to go away, I would always forget to turn it off, now every time I start the Jeep it is by default Off, and if you do want to use it you can turn it back on.

    Works exactly as described! Pain in the a$$ to get the little connector hooked up, but literally took 10 minutes to install! The how to video was a huge help.
