- Q – “I have manual climate controls. Will this add the on screen controls?”
- A – No. There is not a cost effective way to add automatic climate control.
- Q – “Will this add SYNC Connect / FordPass controls from my phone?”
- A – No. SYNC Connect is a separate modem optioned in some vehicles. We do not currently offer a kit to add this functionality.
- Q – “Will this kit void my factory warranty?”
- A – No. This kit will not void your vehicle warranty. Although Ford will not warranty the components in our kit, we do for one full year!
- Q – “Can I still update the SYNC software when updates are available?”
- A – Yes. You will still be able to update SYNC via USB thumb drive from our software updates page HERE.
- Q – “Will this kit affect my SiriusXM subscription?”
- A – No. SiriusXM subscriptions are NOT affected by our kit - your SiriusXM ID will remain the same.

Ford F250 Sync 3 Conversion/Upgrade
This was by far one of the easiest installs and upgrades I have ever done. The instructional videos were spot on. The support questions were amazingly quick and exactly what was needed. These guys have a great product, business and tech support program!

2021 F250 Super Duty 4”-8” SYNC 3 Conversion
I had this in my cart for 2 months while I was on the other coast for work. I placed the order 3 days before I got home, and it was waiting for me. My ‘21 Super Duty came with a modem from the factory, and unfortunately it had the 4” display which is basically useless. I don’t know why Ford even sells trucks with the 4” stereo anymore.
This conversion kit is plug & play. I’ve been installing complete stereo systems in every vehicle I’ve ever owned, and this was far and away the easiest install I’ve ever done.
The unit came preprogrammed with my VIN # from 4D Tech, and everything was neatly packaged with detailed instructions. Somewhat on the pricey side, but still probably cheaper than trying to upgrade to the 8” from the Ford dealership.
10/10 would purchase again. -

4 to 8 inch infotainment screen conversion for 2020 F250
Simple plug-n-Play conversion system. I now have GPS navigation which my truck never had before but the 4D Tech system simplified the entire conversion process. The best part of all were the YouTube videos 4D Tech provides for DIY customers to follow. The videos made the process easy and flawless. I would highly recommend this conversion to anyone who wants to upgrade their standard 4 inch infotainment screen in their truck. I love it and am so excited I purchased the product. 4D Tech made it easy for me to decide what particular items I needed to make this conversion a success. Kudos to 4D Tech staff personnel.
