The 4D Tech Start / Stop Eliminator remembers your Auto Start / Stop setting and restores it when you start your Expedition. Choose OFF to keep the engine running at stops, or choose ON to use the factory system. Your factory button continues to work normally, and remote start is retained.

Installation under the driver’s side dash
The device plugs inline with the two factory connectors at the module under the driver’s side dash. No tools are required.
Watch the complete installation video before beginning. The connection is in a confined space, so review the camera angle and hand placement before reaching under the dash.
- Locate both connections. Use the video to identify the correct module and its two connectors.
- Release the connectors carefully. Follow the release demonstration in the video. Pull on the connector housings, not the wires; do not force a connection that has not released.
- Connect the device inline. Connect the factory harnesses and the module to the matching plugs on the Start / Stop Eliminator, as shown in the video. Make sure each connection is fully seated.
- Secure and check. Keep the device and wiring clear of the pedals and moving components. Start the vehicle and use the factory Start / Stop button to select your preferred setting.

Exactly as advertised
The device installation was exactly as the video explained. The hardest part was bending my wrist into the right position to make the connections, but it took less than 5 minutes to complete. Works exactly as described, remembering the last setting of the Auto Start/Stop switch instead of defaulting to off each time the vehicle is turned off and restarted. Thanks for making it so easy!

I got the stop start pigtail quickly. It took me less than 5 minutes to plug it in. It worked perfectly, just like it was advertised.

This is my third start stop eliminator that I have purchased from 4dtech for three different vehicles and as usual it works flawlessly and is discreet just plug and play and retains the vehicles normal function when I have to take it to the dealership but remembers the off setting when I get the car back.
