Your preferred setting, every drive
The 4D Tech Start / Stop Eliminator remembers your Auto Start / Stop setting and restores it when you start your F-150. Choose OFF to keep the engine running at stops, or choose ON to use the factory system. Your dashboard button continues to work normally, and remote start is retained.
Leave the device plugged in. It operates through the diagnostic port while installed; it does not make programming changes to your truck.

Plug into the diagnostic port
No tools or trim removal are required. Watch the complete installation video.
- Locate the diagnostic port. Find it below the steering wheel, as shown above and in the video.
- Plug in the device. Seat it securely in the port. The video shows a brief blue light when a connection is established.
- Choose your setting. Start the truck and use the factory Start / Stop button to select ON or OFF.
- Leave it connected. The device remembers your selection between drives while it remains plugged in.
Removing the device restores normal factory operation. A paper quick-start guide is included. Contact our support team if you need help.
Does it need to stay plugged in?
Yes. This is a leave-in memory device, not a programmer that you unplug after installation. It occupies the diagnostic port while in use. Remove it when the port is needed for vehicle diagnostics, then reconnect it afterward.

Common questions
Can I turn Start / Stop back on?
Yes. Use your factory Start / Stop control normally. This device remembers both ON and OFF selections between drives; you do not need to remove it to turn Start / Stop back on.
Will remote start still work?
Yes. Remote-start operation is retained.
Do I need tools?
No tools are required for the installation shown in this diagnostic-port installation.
What warranty comes with the device?
The device carries a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. See warranty coverage and support details.
What about my vehicle warranty?
In the U.S., installing an aftermarket part does not by itself void your vehicle warranty. Coverage can be denied for damage caused by a part or its installation. Read the FTC guidance.

Stop/Start Eliminator Works As Expected
Like many ideas that are not needed on new vehicles, the auto stop/start feature is a pain in the keester. The device woks fine but it does occupy the diagnostic port, instead of being a software fix. The auto horn stop gismoe that they sell is a software fix and it woks fine. I know because I have one.

Just plug it in. Works perfect. You can still use it if you want. I prefer not, but forget to turn it off. Now I don’t have to remember every time……..nice!!! ?

F150 15-20' Start/Stop Eliminator
Eliminator arrived a few days after purchase, installed item into the OBD port and followed the instructions to disable start/stop. This was very fast and I no longer need to press the disable button after leaving my driveway. I do recommend this product for a quick fix.

After looking for a solution to the annoying start/stop feature on my truck I found it. A perfect solution that can be installed and used by anyone. It just plugs in under the dash and immediately works, no programing or tearing the dash apart. All accessories still work. Great solution to the B/S put on your vehicle. I love it.
