- Existing 4" system must have basic SYNC / Bluetooth functions to perform this upgrade

- SiriusXM Travel Link requires a navigation equipped kit and your vehicle to be equipped with SiriusXM (factory equipped or with one of our SiriusXM kits).

- Q – “My Hub is in my center console unlike the one in the video, will this kit still work?”
- A – Yes, The hub install and connections are the same, just in a different location.
- Q – “I have manual climate controls. Will this add the on screen controls?”
- A – No. There is not a cost effective way to add automatic climate control.
- Q – “Will this add SYNC Connect / FordPass controls from my phone?”
- A – No. SYNC Connect is a separate modem optioned in some vehicles. We do not currently offer a kit to add this functionality.
- Q – “Will this kit void my factory warranty?”
- A – No. This kit will not void your vehicle warranty. Although Ford will not warranty the components in our kit, we do for one full year!
- Q – “Can I still update the SYNC software when updates are available?”
- A – Yes. You will still be able to update SYNC via USB thumb drive from our software updates page HERE.
- Q – “Will this kit affect my SiriusXM subscription?”
- A – No. SiriusXM subscriptions are NOT affected by our kit - your SiriusXM ID will remain the same.

I looked at the installation video before I bought the product and once I received it I just followed it and boy am I happy with the upgrade. I can't believe I waited so long. Navigation and twice as big a screen. I can actually SEE something!

Pretty Easy
All in all the installation was pretty easy but this is not the first installation of an upgrade I have done in in both cases the related videos show relative ease in removing dashboard panels. My experience was that it was not as easy as shown. Not terribly difficult but you would be wise to have panel removal tools at hand as just ripping that bezel down as shown probably would have broken it.
Fishing the new USB cables through the opening was a bit problematic probably because of my short but otherwise large hands. Some fiberglass wire pulling rods would be helpful. All in all it took me longer than the prescribed time but was overall pretty simple. The good news is that it worked perfectly once powered up. An overall impressive upgrade. -

Worth every penny
Went back and forth for awhile since the price was higher then I wanted to pay but I’m glad I finally decided to purchase this item. Hands down worth every penny you will pay for it. Also only took me about 20 minutes to install since they have a great installation video. Thank you!

2018 Ford F150 4" to 8" Sync
Took me a while to pull the trigger due to price, but glad I finally did it. Having the ability to use map apps for driving and seeing it on the 8" screen instead of my phone is a game changer. Install went pretty easy. Took me about 45 minutes to complete.

I purchased this 18' FORD F150 4" TO 8" TOUCHSCREEN CONVERSION W/ SYNC 3 with Navigation and it was so easy, it is truly Plug and Play, it took 30 minutes and it works perfect 9 months later, it's all OEM Ford.
I highly recommend switching from the 4" screen to this OEM 8" screen, it touch screen with ZOOM.
Uses same camera in tailgate, nothing to do there!
