2016 Chrysler Pacifica Select ESS Elimination
Easy to install into a 2026 Pacifica ONLY AFTER the Magnet Marelli Telematics Communications Unit (TCU) 68632136AD that was blocking access to the gateway module was removed. Removing the TCU that uses 4 screws to mount was VERY DIFFICULT since the cabling attached to the TCU module had NO extra slack length to work with. The OEM cabling was also tie wrapped to the dashboard in 2 places and had to be cut off to make some cable slack to work with. I used a very long 16” Phillip’s screwdriver that was magnetized to remove all of the factory 7mm Hex/Phillip’s combo head screws. The Phillips screw driver was again used to start the reinstall of the screws but a ¼” drive and ratchet with a 7mm hex socket and two 6-inch extensions was used to final tighten. The 4Dtech instructions were perfect and the eliminator works great. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that would like to avoid having to constantly turn off the annoying Start Stop. 5+ stars for the Start Stop Eliminator, 0 stars for Stellantis not having any service slack in the cabling.

Easy install, less than 20 minutes start to finish. Prying the console cover was the most nerve wracking part. Easy peasy.
