Nautilus (19-20') Start / Stop Eliminator

Works as advertised. Was not hard to install from a technical point of view, but lining up the connector to the gateway module trying to feel your way...I did say a couple of curse words. LOL. In reality I had it installed in about 15 or 20 minutes. The brief aggravation definitely worth the aggravation of having to push that button every single time. Thank you 4d tech

This was exactly what I was looking for and a great price! Mechanic said it was very easy to install, took less than 15 minutes!

Just installed this in my 2019 Lincoln Nautilus. Like others have noted, it is NOT easy to get your hand/arm up there. I could get my head down there and look up with a flash light and see what I needed to and get an idea of wear things were. Then I had to get out and just reach my hand back there and blindly feel around for what I was trying to find. Snapping the original wire into the 4D device was tricky because I could only use one hand. Have patience and you should be able to get it connected. Works perfectly, no error codes. Keeps the last know state on or off. Love it!

I guess to the eco crowd, the auto start/stop function is a must have. For all the rest of us, it's just an annoyance. Since it is a choice, and not a safety feature, it shouldn't be shoved down our throats with default to on programming. That's just plain rude and the idiot who thought it would be a good idea deserves to be fired. This sweet little fix removes that annoyance for good, and was easy to install after removing the two 13mm nuts holding the panel on the bottom of the dash. Once it is off, you can just reach up behind the dash just to the left of the console trim and pop the plug right out without even laying on the floor on the drivers side. It's really that simple. What was really surprising is that when I plugged the eliminator into the cable, an LED flashed on it and when I started the car after completion, it presented the "Auto Start/Stop Disabled By Switch" warning on the screen because it was turned off the last time I got done driving it. I didn't even have to program it first. It was ready to go! So, if you are like apparently MANY others and hate the stupid Start/Stop feature, this is the cure, and worth every penny.

Product works exactly as advertised. I would have rated it a 5 if it would have disabled showing you that it was disabled every time you start the car.
Installation was much more difficult then with the Ford Edge and you must remove part of the dash to get at the connection.

Works just as advertised. Takes a few minutes to install. A good flashlight helps to see up under the dash.

The reason for giving a 3 star rating is due to the difficulty with the installation of the device. The Start/Stop Eliminator was very difficult to install behind the dash of our Lincoln Nautilus. I ended up having to get my grandson, who is small in stature to assist in installing the Eliminator. The video shown, uses a Ford Edge. The Ford Edge, and Lincoln Nautilus may be similar, but the makeup of the dash components, and the dash cover are totally different. If the guy on the video had been using a Lincoln Nautilus for an example to install the Eliminator, he would have had a very difficult time in performing the installation. That said, once installed the product works great. Just as advertised.
