Escape (17-19') Start / Stop Eliminator
Works as advertised on a 2027 Ford Escape SE. However, when the extension cable is attached to the OBDII port, the plastic cover won't close.
I solved this by using a flat-blade screwdriver to depress the tabs on the sides of the OBDII port, allowing it to move back into the dash and providing clearance for the door to shut.
Since the OBDII port is connected to the extension cable, it is easy to retrieve from the opening when you need to attach a scan tool, etc.
Overall, I'm quite satisfied. -
