Got the part in today and it works as stated.
“The start stop eliminator simply remembers if the auto start stop system is enabled or disabled eliminating the need to press the button every time you turn on the vehicle”
No fault lights as it is an inline memory electronics board that retains the last state of the button.
Center console removal took some patience but the video on the website was easier to follow than the provided paper instructions.
Flat head screw driver. I also used a plastic pry tool to hold up one side of the console once the clips were released, then I released the other side.
$99 might seem pricey. Even so, nice modification. -
Start Stop Eliminator
I waited for this plug to become available for my Jeep Wagoneer. It works great and eliminates the aggravation of always having to push the disable button.

This stoppeds the aggrivation
I put the start/stop in my previous vehicle and it was great. In December I bought a Jeep Wagoneer and new right away that I wanted the start/stop in it also. Last week I noticed they were now available and I ordered another one. I installed it immediately after receiving it in the mail today.No more annoying engine stopping all the time because I didn't remember to press the button. Install was easy after watching the video. Thanks 4Dtech...!
