Ranger (24-25') Start / Stop Eliminator

Easy to put in. Works just like promised.

The eliminated works as advertised and I am very pleased with the product. However the installation was a pain. First you need to be a contortionist to reach to plug. Also you have to have tiny girly hands to fit in the space. First attempt I immediately cut my self on the stuff around it. No job is really complete until you bleed a little. Next I had to remove the edge trim for the glove box so I could see into the area. Next I had to remove two nuts holding the module that the cable plugged into just so move it out a little to see and I trip the plug retainer to unplug the factory cable. After all that the new cable clipped in readily and worked as advertised. I reassembled all the things i had to loosen to get there and all is good. Like I said 76 year old gorilla hands don't fit very well. Good Luck

Easy install. Works great!

This is a great product. It took me about 15 minutes to install. It is so great not to have to remember to disable the start/stop function every time I start the vehicle. I highly recommend this product.

Works like a charm! Also, I would highly recommend viewing the 4dtech installation video over those of YouTube DIY’ers, as provides a much better description of how to unplug the existing plug (which you have to do ‘blind’ and by feel.

The hardest part of the install was releasing the original connection. Ended up pushing tab with one hand while prying the connector down using a plastic lever. Once released installing the new part was simple. Works great!
