F150 (15-20') Start / Stop Eliminator

I recently did an upgrade from halogen to LED headlamps on my 2020 Ford F-150 STX. When driving, and after Auto Start/Stop would engage at a stop light or intersection, I noted a strong flicker of the headlights when releasing the brake. The surge of power when the engine restarted was the cause. This, I thought, can't be good.

4DTech's Eliminator was the solution. The OBD unit is simple to install - put the truck in accessory mode, plug the Eliminator in, wait for the light, done. Auto Start/Stop now remains OFF on all restarts, and I still have the ability to use it if I like. And if I need to use the OBD port for other purposes, I can plug the Eliminator back in when finished and retain its function.

No more LED flicker, and no more having to turn off a feature I rarely use and really didn't want.

I was pleased with the function it does Just as advertised it eliminated the engine stopping every time you came to a red light or a stop sign

I've had it on for 3k miles. Works exactly as it should. Sets default to off.
This "technology" from ford only saves fuel if you idle for more than 10 minutes and will cause pre-mature engine wear.
