Works like it's factory
I installed this in my 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness. I watched the video, but mine was a little more than what the video showed. I have a moonroof and the SOS buttons, so I had extra wires but it was still straight forward and easily to do despite the extra wires up there. Once installed the start/stop button was shut off. You can still use the feature if you choose. The Cruise and Eyesight lane assist works perfectly. Yes I know that you can just push the button every time you start the car, but this way I don't have to remember to do that. It stays at the setting you last pushed the button for, either having it off. or turned on. I think it's well worth the price, and so easy to install. Should have came from the factory with the start/stop feature working like this. There are other products out there but this one from 4D Tech is a proven product that will not interfere with other electronics and will not void your warranty. Buy it now from 4D Tech and save yourself from having to push the button every time you start your car.

Start/Stop eliminator
Received my device today. Since it had been about a week, watched video before going to install. Unfortunately, forgot screwdriver. It literally took longer to walk back in to get screwdriver than to install part. Approx 4 minutes start to finish, and it worked first time. Great device with excellent instructions!

Works just like it says
installation took about 5 minutes. Works just like it's supposed to. The only way it could be better is if the Auto Vehicle Hold would stay on as well. I'm so glad I don't have to wait on the infotainment system to figure out what it's doing just to turn that stupid thing off.

One suggestion
Maybe it's my fat fingers, but using a small flathead screwdriver makes disconnecting the electrical plugs much easier.

Great product!
I was able to install the Start / Stop Eliminator in less than 10 minutes, and it only took that long because my Crosstrek sport was slightly different than the Crosstrek in the video. Otherwise, very simple and quick process.

Auto Start-Stop Eliminator
Once installed, product is working as advertised. Apparently, it adds inline memory of user's last switch setting of the vehicle's auto Start-Stop system. Thus, on next engine starting, the auto Start-Stop does NOT default to on, but to the user's last choice. Bravo!
One star off as installation is slightly more difficult than as highlighted in the video. Tech help was great attempting to overcome the usually tedious problem associated with release of multi-pin electrical Connectors in very tight spaces. There's probably a tool that makes it easier.
