It take longer than 20 minutes like people said. If you take your time and do it right it takes a Hour or so easy install just it takes longer than stated in some of the reviews

2021 ranger navigation upgrade
Thank you 4d tech received my new navigation module 3 days after I ordered it followed the included instructions and in 20 minutes my stock radio had navigation and it booted up and worked perfectly also when I called a very nice lady in the tech department answered all of my questions so I ordered it .thank you 4d tech for making it so easy to add navigation to a stock radio.

The video on your website made by Scott was exact in every detail in going through the process of removing panels, unhooking connectors, removing the module, replacing it with the new one, and putting everything back together. I was able to install it without any problems. It worked perfect the first time I started the truck. I am 100% satisfied with your product and service.

20 Ranger Navigation Upgrade
At first I was concerned because the module appeared well worn, labels torn, peeled, and casting slightly oxidized. A poor trade for the one month old module I returned for credit.
The installation went smoothly. There were no software conflicts or error messages. The system booted up and performed perfectly from the get-go. Maps worked perfectly and all other options like dual zone climate control, back-up cam, and XM radio also worked correctly. Module was programmed with an older version of SYNC3 than originally equipped on my vehicle. Concerned if I allow update if it will revert to a non-nav equipped vehicle.
A software scan showed the new module had 64gb of memory installed as apposed to the 16gb of my trade in module, so that was a comfort to me that this company was not just reprogramming returned modules and sending them out with very little spare memory to sell to the next guy.
Overall a positive experience. I just hope I'm not limited to future updates by outdated hardware, as this new module has older time stamps than the one I traded in.
