Shipping
- All of our in-stock products are ready to ship from our warehouse in the USA.
- Orders placed before 3pm ET (M-F excluding holidays) typically ship same day.
- We ship to the USA and Canada only and our packages are sent signature required.
- Shipments are not able to be re-directed by the customer after being sent.
- We are not responsible for duties or fees related to importing a product to another country.
- We require a physical shipping address and do not ship to P.O Boxes or Freight Forwarders.
- We take no responsibility for stolen packages - please ensure that the shipping address is secure.
- All orders will be assigned a tracking number. You will be emailed the tracking number once the shipping label is created. This can be tracked via the link in the email or directly on the carriers website.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping option you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Free Shipping
All orders that qualify for free shipping will be shipped via a carrier and shipping method of our choice. Transit time for an order using free shipping can be as much as six business days (ground economy shipping). You must choose this option during checkout and it only applies to orders within the continental USA.
Expedited Shipping
We take no responsibility for service guarantees beyond what the shipper's policies are at the time of shipment. Business days are defined by the carrier and are typically Monday-Friday excluding some holidays. If a service failure occurs, we will do our best to recover the shipping costs from the carrier and pass them on to you. The carriers decision is final.
Coupons / Sales
Any offers are valid on online purchases made before date listed in promotion. To redeem online promotion code, must be entered at checkout and is valid for one-time use only. Sales tax, shipping & handling do not qualify for discount. This offer is not redeemable for cash or gift cards, nor is it valid toward previous purchases. Offer may not be combined with any other coupons, discounts, offers, or promotions. Void if altered, copied, transferred, auctioned or sold. Offer valid on in-stock items only. No rain checks issued. Offer not valid for prior purchases. Other restrictions may apply. May be canceled at any time, for any reason.
Warranty
All of our products carry a one-year warranty from date of purchase unless otherwise noted in the product listing. We do not offer extended warranties. At our discretion, we will repair or replace any product found to be defective. The warranty excludes all software related issues and potential issues related resulting from software updates. We are not responsible for professional fees related to removal or re-installation of any product. It is the customer's responsibility for shipping costs to us - we will cover return shipping. Items returned for repair that are found to have no issues will incur troubleshooting fees and return shipping fees.
Returns
We offer hassle free returns within 30 days of purchase (unless otherwise stated in the product listing). The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We are not responsible for shipping costs or professional fees related to installation, removal or re-installation of any product. Special orders, used tools, services and Digital media (map cards, CD's, etc.) are not refundable for any reason. CANopener Flash programmers are not refundable as they become "locked" to the vehicle / device in which they are connected.
We do not refund shipping charges and when refunding an order with free shipping, we will deduct our cost for shipping from the amount to be returned. Transaction fees for Purchases made with PayPal will be deducted from any refund.
Beginning 4/6/23, items that require VIN SPECIFIC PROGRAMMING will incur a $100 restocking fee for the time we spent programming the hardware for your specific vehicle. This will be waived only in the case that an item is defective and we are exchanging it for you.
Items returned damaged, modified or otherwise tampered will will not be refunded. In cases were only part of the kit being returned is damaged we will make every effort to only deduct for the parts damaged.
Please allow up to five business days for any refund to be processed after received by our returns department for full inspection. This return policy is null & void if product(s) have been tampered with or modified. We reserve the right to reject a return if there is damage, excessive use/wear, used for testing/troubleshooting or reverse engineering.
If you need to return an item, please request a return via email, with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.
Buyback Program / Core Charges
The payment for modules returned as a core or purchased by 4D Tech Inc. will be in the form of a refund to the original purchase method - purchase price will be shown in the product listings. Modules must be from a 2013 or newer vehicle, have a 2013 or newer production date, be in good working condition, without physical damage and received within 120 days from the purchase date to be eligible. If hardware is sent in that does not meet this criteria, it will be discarded without notice. Please allow up to five business days for any buy back to be processed after received by our shipping and receiving department for full inspection. 4D Tech, Inc. reserves the right to discontinue the Buy Back program at any time without notice. If the program is discontinued, Buy Backs for any outstanding orders at that time will be honored as long as the old module is returned within 30 days of the order ship date.
Modules returned as a core or purchased as part of the Buy Back program become sole property of 4D tech, Inc. upon issuance of the refund amount. If under the 30 day guarantee, it is deemed necessary to return the vehicle to its original form, 4D Tech, Inc. retains the right to provide an equivalent piece of hardware if the original is no longer able to be returned. This is the only provision for returning a purchased piece of hardware back to a customer.
If other hardware is returned with the buyback item that is not part of the buyback program, a $20 recycling fee will deducted from the buyback refund amount.
